about
So, it was 2005 (or 06) and I'm on Myspace. Its about 2 am and I'm sippin on some Svedka Vodka. I'm doing random searches overseas like I always do. Lo and behold, I hit the wrong button, typical when you're really buzzed and trying to type. However, that wrong button landed me on the right page. That page happened to be some cat with a picture of a gallon of Tanqueray on the desk. Instant connection! The cat's name... Suff Daddy. Turned out dude was a really dope producer from Dusseldorf, Germany. We began sending messages back and forth and eventually, I wound up sending him two acapellas that he remixed pretty quickly. This track, "Rain Delay", is a great remix by Suff. I was very excited to hear it and couldn't believe how clear it sounded. (The original version appears on my album, "The Great Big Nothing"). Suff has gone on to do bigger things, including working with several artists all over the world and putting out various 12". He later went on to win a remix contest to produce a joint for Phat Kat/Guilty Simpson. However, I quickly had to remind him that I was the FIRST artist from Detroit that he produced a joint for. So here it is... Rain Delay, the Suff Daddy remix.
